Easy Skin Care Tips And Tricks To Stay Looking Young And Beautiful

By Susan Price

These days, you can come across so many beauty solutions and cosmetic treatments. It can be baffling to decide which ones of them actually work. Luckily, being your best oftentimes requires you to stick to the basics. There is really no need to spend more than you can afford just to become a head-turner. Read on to know some very simple skin care tips and tricks that can make wonders.

Avoid washing your face over 3 times per day. This is ideal for those with dry faces as well as shiny t-zones. Constant washing will only make dryness worse. Similarly, it will only cause the production of more oils, causing your complexion to look really greasy.

Remember to apply a top-notch moisturizer. Never assume that having an oily complexion will spare you from the need to moisturize on a regular basis. That's because oil is incapable of hydrating those cells. What you should do is go for a moisturizer suited for someone with oily skin. It does not contain ingredients which can clog and irritate your pores.

Always remove your makeup before going to sleep. It is not a good idea to leave cosmetics on your face as you spend some time in dreamland. This will only cause your pores to get clogged up which can potentially cause the formation of pimples.

Remember to smooth on a generous amount of sunscreen prior to heading out. Skincare experts say that one of the reasons why aging signs such as wrinkles and fine lines appear prematurely is getting more sun than necessary. That is why you should have sunscreen that has an SPF of 15 or more. Definitely, you should also invest in an umbrella, a hat with a wide brim, and a pair of dark glasses.

Erase dark scars with the help of lemon juice. Because of its acidity, lemon juice can actually make those blemishes gradually lighten. This DIY solution is effective and very cheap, keeping you from the need to spend money on an expensive scar removing product that contains harsh substances. Other than lemon juice, you may also opt for apple cider vinegar.

Make your complexion look glowing by exfoliating once or twice a week. Dead skin cells piled on top of each other can leave you with a lifeless complexion. A homemade exfoliating solution can be made out of a few drops of olive oil and baking soda or brown sugar. The paste should be gently massaged on your face. Rinse off with cold water and enjoy a radiant complexion.

Your diet should consist of foods that are rich in vitamin C. This nutrient is essential for the synthesis of collagen, which is a substance that helps make your skin become soft and supple. Collagen can help in warding off the development of fine lines and wrinkles. Some wonderful sources of vitamin C are green leafy vegetables, kiwis, papayas, guavas and all sorts of citrus fruits.

Get a good night's sleep always. While you are in dreamland, your body's various tissues are being repaired. Having 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night can help prevent the formation of dark eye circles. Also, it can make your complexion look healthy and radiant.
